Dora and the Devil

While writing the chronology, it becomes obvious how Dora's relationship and later marriage became bad enough for her to be abused by the California Court System, and by Donald Lucifer, the then love of her life.

* So, from 1975-2013, Dora's horrible journey continued. She actually stayed married until 2013. Why? She didn't originally want this divorce, but she finally had to stand up to the verbal, emotional and physical abuse perpetrated by Donald Lucifer. She actually convinced herself that it was a normal relationship even though he and his immediate family and friends gaslighted her the entire time.

* In the seventies, the multiple affairs began. The abuse was already rampant. Even if divorces in California are supposed to be dissolved through a community property split, the flawed California Court System benefits those who are rich and corrupt.

The abuse really began in 1974. Dora married Donald because he was cute and smart. Dora was young and happy to be with the love of her life. He appeared to be a great version of Dr. Jekyll from the famed Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde story. She ignored the abuse in 1974. Dora decided that it was in the past so it didn't matter. She confided about her abusive situation with her mother-in-law to be, Priscilla. She condoned his behavior. And besides, Dora still believed that she was the one who caused the abuse. Yes, cute finally morphed into the Mr. Burns character on the "Simpsons". Donald could be so nice and kind and seconds later, he was indignant and violent. He ended up being Mr. Hyde quite regularly. He used to say that Dora pushed his buttons which caused this behavior. He told her to keep her distance and only make an appearance during the demands of lunch as well as dinner.

But, Dora stilI liked going out to dinner with him because he would appear as the Dr. Jekyll character. They only made small talk even at home and then the abuse would come up after he was frustrated. Donald would really never talk about it. He saved the abuse for Dora when they returned to the house of terror. Towards the end of marriage, his affective filter disappeared totally and his private abuse turned into public abuse. That is why Dora didn't like running errands with him because as the years ensued, he became exclusively Mr. Hyde, so beginning in the 2000's, she just left him in the car for her peace and tranquility. She eventually convinced him to stay at home and take care of the dog who he liked better than her anyway. Dora also didn't want to repeat their local "Whole Foods" nightmare when he hauled out and hit her. She was amazed that no one noticed. Having company over to the house had it's own struggles with an ill tempered dog and husband. Donald made Dora spend two hours cleaning their already immaculate house. He would only discuss one subject-himself with guests due to his suspected Aspergers and then make odd off-the-wall comments.

Let's talk more about abuse, the kind you hear about in the movies when you find out that you, the spouse, needs to check into a domestic violence facility, but only to find out that she is not allowed to do so because she needs to quit her teaching job to protect the other abused women from their identities being found out. Dora respected that so she made plan B to create a safe room in her house with plexiglass in 2001. In addition, she attempted to arrange for Donald to go to a lock down facility because of his suspected mental problems (hears voices, obsessive compulsive, Narcissistic sociopath which he inherited this from his parents-Priscilla and Maurice, mainly Priscilla). Dora was unsuccessful at sending him to a lockdown facility because he convinced the nurse that he was fine. Therefore, his mental illnesses remain unchecked to this day. Here are a few examples of the kind of abuse he was subjected to by his parents that created the demons that Donald lives with and haunts him in his everyday life. When he was about 10 years old, his father, Maurice tried to intentionally run him over with the car and his mother, Priscilla was a modern day version of Joan Crawford who was dramatized in "Mommy Dearest". When Donald was in junior high school, high school and university, not only did Priscilla expect straight A's, but he had to be number one in his class academically. And on top of all this abuse, Donald was a latch key kid since both of his parents were full time professionals which resulted in Donald being left home alone unsupervised after school for most of his childhood, which contributed to him to be a socially maladjusted and deeply disturbed child.

Later on in life (2015), Donald asked Dora to kill his mother. She declined his request. She was shocked at the time and still stunned about his request. Donald is smart? Dora is still thinking of going to the District Attorney and still lives in fear of Donald. To think that another human being would want to take someone's life, especially his own mother's life is repugnant. This does unfortunately show his lack of character. Donald would stoop so low to get his mother's inheritance, how disgusting he is! Every family member of his told her that Dora must be imagining this. She was told that Donald wouldn't do that.

She can't prove it, but, Dora believes that he probably killed Priscilla during one of her abusive bouts of dementia. She was a piece of work, but taking someone's life went well for Donald, but not for her. He already apparently tried to kill Dora in 1995, so he already had on the job training. In fact, he bought a home in Santorini in 2005 so that he could be protected from Jeb who he was having the Bromance with. This made him happy for a few years and then after Jeb was released from prison and since Donald's girlfriends were elsewhere, he rarely came to Greece. He hated the friendly, kind, and nurturing environment that Greece had to offer - something foreign to his upbringing. But, Dora still has this house in Greece and goes there every year. The wonderful, kind and happy people in Greece are her happy place.

Back to their home in the states, they had a room that had four locks on the fire door to the safe room in 2001. No one could get in, even Donald. It was also bullet proof. One night, the sheriff came over to check on a domestic violence issue from across the street. He chose the right house, but Dora didn't call them. She was always afraid to call. Donald said to her, "Don't say anything or I will make them believe me. Why would they believe you? I never abused you. You only got what you deserved. If you ever send me to jail you will live to regret it. Abuse is not a big thing." Dora knew not to "frustrate" him (press his buttons) as Donald would say which means to say something upsetting to him to cause him to yell, scream or hit her. They also had locks on all the inside doors for her safety. Dora told the builder that she wanted this in case of a break in. Not true, Donald. Dora wanted these locks to protect herself from DONALD."

The Mr. Hyde version of Donald would hit Dora regularly if dinner was a little off or she said something stupid. He called her stupid quite regularly. Here is an example of his quotes, "If you weren't so stupid, you would know how to answer that question." Here are more examples of the abuse, "If you don't listen, I will hit you. I'm going to hit you if you press my buttons. I punish you so you will do what I want. If you cry, I will hit you." His childhood friend, Red saw Donald hit Dora on the left side of the face in 1974. (This was the physical and the verbal abuse I mentioned previously). She was bloody and disorientated after that hit. Red doesn't remember that event anymore. After that bloody event, it mostly shocked her. She still married him because she believed she must have caused the abuse. Even so, Dora's shoulder still hurts to this day from what Donald did most of the time-hit her in the shoulder while driving.

When Dora was 24 years old, a few months before the wedding, she was even told by her young neighbor, Bunny, that Donald was cheating on her and was NOT working late. She didn't believe it. Donald was cute then which only lasted a few years. He looked like David Groh from "Rhoda" at 25 years old. In a few years, he grew up to look like the Alfred E. Newman character from "Mad Magazine" and then, he morphed into Mr. Burns from the "Simpson's." Who would understand how this non-Adonis could be so popular with the ladies and actually gentlemen too?

Then, the multiple affairs began, just to explain just a few: Donald would come home at 2:00 AM in the morning when he was in the record business during his suspected bi-sexual period in the 70's. He worked in a Tarzana high rise in the 80's for a competitive company to Dulcimer. By this time, he looked like the Alfred E. Newman character. Go figure!

And on to the ladies-Conchita, Alice and more. Dora only went there one time when she was promptly ushered out because of Cynthia. The affair with Cynthia began in the eighties. In 2012, she found out about Conchita. She had already been around since 2009. Dora had no idea that he and Conchita were a thing. Donald would also go on personal and business trips while leaving her home with KP duties, as well as his constant clandestine activities on the internet (during the days of chat rooms) with Conchita as an example. In fact, fast forward to the nineties, Donald and Jeb had a thing. In fact, they probably share a"bromance" to this day. How callous and deceitful, Donald was. She taught public school every day and when she was gone, his affairs were on. Why didn't Dora know? She only figured it out in 2012. She is so gullible.

In these cases, within Donald's confidence lies a fragile self-esteem that's vulnerable to the slightest criticism. He once told Dora that he was good at lying. His deceit and total disregard for her rights. She regarded his rights as supreme and never would have disavowed them, but he not only didn't protect her nor take care of her and another covenant broken. "It is as if by his own admission, that he can't tolerate frustration, he fails to live up to his Potential. He is restless and keeps secrets. He manipulates, disregards the rights of others and fails to take responsibility for his actions to this day." He didn't meet his commitment with Dora. He cared more about the gratification he received and and lack of concern for her health, happiness and financial security. Ego-centrism is his identity. His self esteem is derived from personal gain, power and pleasure because of his lack of self-esteem. Self-direction means goal-setting on personal gratification to him. His absence of social internal standards associated with his failure to conform to culturally normal ethical behavior didn't work for Dora. She needed normalcy and someone to love herself-HER. He is manipulative, deceitful and callous. She guessed as he had written to her before, "If you have an itch, you scratch it."How does that work? Maybe it is his fragile self-esteem that's vulnerable to the slightest criticism. Manipulativeness is the frequent use of subterfuge to influence or control others, use of seduction, charm, glibness and or ingratiation to achieve one's ends!
